Here you find all the information about inhability to participate in an examination. Links to the website of the university concering psychological counseling and other offers are listed as well.
Inability to participate in an examination
A candidate who is registered for a written or oral examination can withdraw from it after the registration deadline if they have a good reason, particularly if they are unable to participate due to illness. The examination board must be notified in writing without delay (within three days). Candidates who are ill are required to present a medical certificate (in the original!) proving their inability to participate in the examination.
The date on the postmark or on which the certificate is handed into the Examination Office directly shall suffice to determine whether the deadline has been met. You can also post your medical certificate in the Examination Office mailbox.
Please enclose the following information with your certificate:
-
Name
-
Student ID number
-
Module for which you are registered for an examination
-
Examination date
Note
Medical certificates submitted after an examination has started or finished will not be accepted (When the examination starts, the candidate will be deemed to have declared that they are fit to sit it.).
