PhD Candidate

Research

The main topic of this doctoral research are the trade-offs in climate change adaptation measures, with a particular interest in the difference drivers between global and local approaches especially in countries that are at the frontline of climate risks. Thus, what I would like to answer at the end of this dissertation is, given the origins of trade-offs, how the identification, management and negotiations of local-originated trade-offs are key enablers to achieve effective adaptation to climate change?
