Crowd solving challenges: Making sustainable excursions possible
The Sustainability Working Group at the Department of Geography invites you to an event that will explore ways of making the excursions of our geography programs more sustainable.
Prof. Dr. Anette Scheersoi, Vice Rector for Sustainability at the University of Bonn, will open the event with a keynote on “Sustainability in Teaching”. Afterwards, the dimensions of environmental, economic and social sustainability in relation to the planning and implementation of excursions will be examined in a World Café. The results of the three thematic tables will be discussed in the final plenary session and summarized in a synthesis. This will form the basis for a “Suggestion paper for sustainable excursions” at the GIUB.
The Sustainability Working Group invites all GIUB members and students to actively participate in this discussion!
