During his visit, Dr. Mkuna enriched the Master’s seminar “Energy transition and decarbonisation from an economic geography perspective“ led by Dr. Linus Kalvelage, sharing his expertise in impact of climate change on agricultural systems with insights from East Africa.
Dr. Mkuna also delivered a lecture in the "...mittwochs im GIUB" series, titled " INNOVATING AGAINST THE ODDS: CLIMATE-SMART AGRICULTURAL SOLUTIONS FOR RURAL AFRICA". His presentation sparked engaging discussions on climate change impacts and mitigation strategies in Africa.
In addition, Dr. Mkuna engaged in active exchange with the research groups of Prof. Britta Klagge, Prof. Lisa Schipper, and Prof. Detlef Müller-Mahn, fostering dialogue on shared research interests and potential collaboration.
