Research

Geographical research in Bonn is mainly focused on the following three key fields: water, risk and geomatics. Research and teaching within these key fields is divided into nine academic areas. The department’s offering is supplemented by partnerships in the fields of medical geography, aquatic ecology and nature conservation.
